I am honored to share my experience as a beneficiary of the Dr. Ben Attah Foundation and contribute to its mission of supporting students. 
 
My connection with the Dr. Ben Attah Foundation began when I came across a notice of scholarship for Okobo students. I applied, following due process and was awarded a scholarship to support my education. This opportunity came at a crucial time, easing my financial burden and allowing me to focus more on my academic pursuits. 
 
Through the scholarship, I received not only financial assistance but also motivation and encouragement from the foundation. Knowing that an organization believed in my potential strengthened my determination to excel in my studies and pursue my goals with confidence. 
 
This opportunity has had a significant impact on my aspirations. With the support I received, I have been able to concentrate on my education without financial stress, which has greatly enhanced my academic performance and career outlook. It has also inspired me to give back to my community and help others in need. 
 
Looking ahead, I am committed to making a difference in my community by mentoring young students and advocating for educational support programs. The generosity of the Dr. Ben Attah Foundation has motivated me to contribute positively to society, just as I have benefited from its kindness.

Joseph Emmanuel Umoh

I am Joseph Emmanuel Umoh, a 500 level student of the department of medicine and
surgery at the prestigious university of Uyo in Akwa Ibom State. I hail from Okopedi in Okobo
local government area in Akwa Ibom State. I am deeply grateful to the Dr. Ben Attah
Foundation for the transformative scholarship award I received. As one of the early
beneficiaries, I can attest to the profound impact this foundation has had on my life.
I got to know about the Dr Ben Attah scholarship award from an online advertisement where
I later followed up and realized it was for indigent students especially from the local
government I hailed from.
The scholarship award enabled me to pursue my academic goals without financial burden. It
not only covered my tuition fees but also provided me with a sense of security and
motivation to excel. The foundation’s support went beyond financial assistance; I have
received mentorship, guidance, and encouragement from the organization as well.
The Dr. Ben Attah Foundation’s scholarship award has been a catalyst for my growth and
development. It has empowered me to pursue my passion for making a positive impact in my
community. The foundation’s emphasis on education, leadership, and community service
has shaped my values and goals.
Today, as a 500 level medical student, I look forward to contributing my quotas in the nearest
future to make my community and the world at large a suitable place to be. I am committed
to giving back to my community through various initiatives. I am confident that the skills,
knowledge, and experience I am gaining will enable me to make a meaningful difference in
the lives of others.
I extend my sincerest gratitude to Dr. Ben Attah and the entire scholarship committee of the
Dr. Ben Attah Foundation for believing in me and investing in my future. I am proud to be
part of a community that values education, leadership, and service.

I Am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for the scholarship award that I was fortunate to be one of the beneficiaries. As a beneficiary, I can attest that it has been a big relief in my academic journey.

My experience with Dr Ben Attah’s scholarship foundation has been exceptional. From the application process to the  award ceremony. I was impressed by the foundation’s professionalism and dedication to supporting students like me.

The motivation and support I received from the foundation was invaluable and this has given me the impetus to pursue my dreams.

The scholarship has alleviated my financial burdens. It has  enabled me to focus on my studies and also influenced my goals, encouraging me to aim higher and strive for excellence in my field.
 
Going forward, I will be committed to use the skills and knowledge I have acquired to contribute my quota to the development of my community.  I plan  to sensitise and encourage prospective students on career councilling and the need to shun negative vices which is capable of truncating their future by organizing seminars.
 
I also plan to develop innovative solutions to address social and environmental challenges in my community

I am deeply honored to be part of the pioneering group of awardees of the Dr. Ben Attah Foundation Scholarship. Being a medical student, I have always been passionate about the well- being of those around me and this scholarship has been a catalyst for my academic growth, propelling me towards excellence. Receiving the scholarship has been nothing short of life- changing. It has not only alleviated the financial pressures that come with studying medicine but has also fueled my
determination to give back to my community.

Dr. Ben Attah’s unwavering commitment to excellence and his vision for empowering young people have inspired me to strive for greatness in every aspect of my life. The support has allowed me focus more on my studies, enabling me to gain knowledge and skills that I will one day use to serve others. This support has shaped my goals by deepening my sense of responsibility towards my community. It has encouraged me to take a more active role in improving the lives of those around
me. With the opportunity I have been given, I am more committed than ever to advancing the well-being of marginalized communities and contributing to it development. I want to reiterate that with this scholarship, I’m not just reaching for the stars – I’m owning the constellation, blazing a trail of academic glory that will leave indelible marks on the sands of time.


As I continue my education, I aim to embody the values of selflessness and excellence that Dr. Attah exemplifies. I’m committed to using the knowledge and skills I acquire to improve healthcare access in underserved communities, offering the same support and hope that I have received through this foundation. I
will forever be grateful for this opportunity and the impact it will have on my future contributions to society.
